What is Volumouse used for?

Volumouse is used to control Windows system volume with a mouse wheel. It allows users to adjust sound levels when specific conditions are active.

Does Volumouse change normal mouse scrolling?

No. When the configured volume control conditions are not active, the mouse wheel continues working normally for scrolling.

Can I customize how Volumouse controls volume?

Does Volumouse work with Windows 11?

Yes. Volumouse supports Windows 11 along with several earlier Windows versions.

Does Volumouse require a special mouse?

Why does Volumouse need administrator mode for some applications?

On Windows systems with User Account Control enabled, Volumouse may need to run as administrator to capture mouse events from applications that are also running with administrator privileges.
